Mary Mother of Hope National School was established as a vertical school in 2001 in a rapidly growing area of Dublin. In 2008 the school split, with the junior classes forming a new school and the senior classes remaining in Mary, Mother of Hope Senior school. From 2008 to the present school-year, the school continued to grow from 11 classes and 301 pupils in 2008 to 16 classes and 480 pupils in the current school year.
As with any school undergoing this rapid change, our campus has been an area of constant development over these years. In February of this year, the school was fortunate to gain a brand new All-weather pitch on the campus. Unfortunately, building work and construction caused our school garden to suffer somewhat. Now as the builders prepare to leave the Mary Mother of Hope campus, a group of children in Mr. Curtin's 6th class have decided to invest their time and energy in to the creation of a new school garden.
Very informative!
